Makes 20 servings, 2 each.
Beat cream cheese and butter with mixer until creamy. Gradually beat in sugar until blended. Add vanilla; mix well.
Spread about 1-1/2 tsp. cream cheese mixture onto flat side of each of 40 wafers; cover with remaining wafers to make 40 sandwiches. Spread tops with remaining cream cheese mixture.
Arrange in rectangular shape on large platter or cutting board, in 5 rows of 8 sandwiches each. Top 9 sandwiches in top left corner with blueberries. Top remaining sandwiches with raspberries.
Prepare using Neufchatel cheese.
Wafer sandwiches can be prepared ahead of time. Refrigerate up to 8 hours. Arrange on platter and top with berries as directed just before serving.
Keep refrigerated.
