Apples are hollowed out, filled with chopped fat-free fig cookies, drizzled with apple juice, then baked until tender for a comforting dessert.

Makes 6 servings.
Core apples, removing seeds and pulp to make 1-1/4-inch wide cavity. zest off strip around top of each apple.
Mix chopped cookies, cinnamon and lemon peel. Spoon into apple cavities; press filling firmly into each cavity.
Place apples in 13x9-inch baking dish. Dot tops of apples with margarine. Mix apple juice and lemon juice; drizzle over apples.
Bake at 350°F for 45 to 55 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm.
