NILLA Strawberry "Shortcake" with "Gingerbread" Cream
Try one of our favorite shortcake recipes - which use NILLA Wafers for the cake and spiced whipped topping for a unexpectely amazing dessert!
Ingredient list
- 1 tub (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1½ tsp. cinnamon
- ¾ tsp. ground ginger
- ¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1½ cups sliced strawberries
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 36 NILLA Wafers, divided
- 6 strawberries, halved
Directions
Combine whipped topping and spices. Toss sliced strawberries with sugar.
Chop 24 wafers coarsely. Layer half EACH of the chopped wafers, sliced strawberries and whipped topping mixture in 12 (3-oz.) shot glasses. Repeat layers.
Garnish with remaining wafers and halved strawberries just before serving.
