These easy pumpkin bars feature a delicious crust using chocolate chip cookies. They're the best fall version of your favorite magic cookie bars!

Heat oven to 350°F.
Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray.
Reserve 1/2 cup chopped cookies for later use. Spread remaining chopped cookies evenly onto bottom of prepared pan.
Mix pumpkin, sugar and pumpkin pie spice in medium bowl until blended. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk, mixing well after each addition.
Pour pumpkin mixture over chopped cookies in pan; spread pumpkin mixture to evenly cover cookies.
Sprinkle evenly with nuts and reserved chopped cookies.
Bake 35 to 40 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 min.
Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan.
Refrigerate 1 hour before cutting dessert into bars to serve.
Prepare recipe using your favorite variety of chopped nuts. Or for a change of pace, omit the nuts
