Servings:

Makes 4 servings, 1 s'more each.

Ingredient list

  • 1 Tbsp. coarse colored sugar (any color)
  • 4 marshmallows
  • 2 HONEY MAID Honey Grahams, broken crosswise in half (4 squares)
  • 1 milk chocolate candy bar (1.55 oz.), broken into 4 pieces

Directions

1

Heat oven to 350°F.

2

Spoon sugar into shallow bowl.  Spray kitchen shears with cooking spray.  Use to cut 1 marshmallow crosswise into 5 slices. Press each marshmallow slice into oval shape, then pinch both ends of oval to resemble flower petal. Repeat with remaining marshmallows.

3

Dip one cut side of each marshmallow petal, 1 at a time, into sugar, firmly pressing sticky parts of marshmallow into sugar to secure; place in single layer on plate. Repeat with remaining marshmallows and colored sugar.  (You should have a total of  20 petals.)

4

Place graham squares in single layer on baking sheet; top with chocolate pieces.

5

Bake 1 to 1-1/2 min. or until chocolate begins to soften. (Chocolate will not appear to be melted. DO NOT bake long enough to fully melt chocolate.)

6

Arrange 5 marshmallow petals, with edges of petals slightly overlapping, in circle on top of each chocolate-topped graham square to resemble flower as shown in photo.

Recipe Tips

  • Mini Marshmallow Flowers

Substitute 32 mini marshmallows for the 4 sliced large marshmallows.  Cut mini marshmallows diagonally in half; place in large resealable plastic bag.  Add 2 Tbsp. colored sugar; seal bag, then shake bag to evenly coat cut sides of marshmallows with sugar.  Working from the inside out, carefully press 16 marshmallow pieces into chocolate on each topped graham square to resemble flower.

  • Food Facts

Sometimes called sanding sugar or sparkling sugar, coarse sugar comes in many different colors.  Use a spring-colored sugar when making these fun flower s'mores.
