Ingredient list

  • 72 Blue Raspberry Lemonade SWEDISH FISH Soft & Chewy Candies (about 2-1/2 cups), divided
  • 1 pkg. (2-layer size) confetti cake mix
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
  • ½ tsp. blue gel food coloring
  • 24 pretzel sticks (3 inch)
  • 10 ft. string licorice, cut into 24 (5-inch) lengths
  • 2 Tbsp. sprinkles

Heat oven to 350°F.

Reserve 24 SWEDISH FISH Candies for later use; chop remaining SWEDISH FISH Candies.

Prepare cake batter as directed on package; stir in chopped candies.

Spoon batter into 24 paper-lined muffin pan cups.

Bake 19 to 23 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers of cupcakes comes out clean; cool 5 min. Remove cupcakes from pans to wire racks; cool completely.

Spoon half the whipped topping into medium bowl. Add food coloring; mix well.  Spoon blue whipped topping alternately with spoonfuls of the remaining untinted whipped topping into large pastry bag fitted with star tip.

Pipe swirled whipped topping onto tops of cupcakes.

Decorate with remaining whole SWEDISH FISH Candies and all other remaining ingredients as shown in photo.
