Heat grill to medium heat.
Combine seasonings; sprinkle evenly onto both sides of steak.
Grill 6 to 8 min. on each side or until done (160°F); cool. Meanwhile, cook plantains as directed on package; cool.
Cut steak across the grain into 24 thin slices, cut each slice in half. Cut plantains into 48 pieces.
Top crackers with meat, plantains and salsa.
Look for fresh salsa in the refrigerated section of the produce department of your supermarket. Frozen plantains, or maduros, can be found in the frozen section of larger supermarkets.
These flavorful topped crackers are equally delicious served warm. Prepare recipe as directed, cooling the grilled steak and cooked plantains just slightly before slicing and using as directed.
Combine 2-1/2 Tbsp. finely chopped seeded tomatoes, 1 Tbsp. chopped white onions, 1-1/2 tsp. chopped jalapeño peppers, 1 tsp. fresh lime juice and a dash of salt.
