Ingredients
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- ½ tsp. ground cumin
- 1 beef flank steak(3/4 lb.)
- 5½ oz. (1/2 of 11-oz. pkg.) frozen ripe plantains (maduros)
- 48 RITZ Crackers
- ½ cup fresh salsa
Preparation
- Heat grill to medium heat.
- Combine seasonings; sprinkle evenly onto both sides of steak.
- Grill 6 to 8 min. on each side or until done (160°F); cool. Meanwhile, cook plantains as directed on package; cool.
- Cut steak across the grain into 24 thin slices, cut each slice in half. Cut plantains into 48 pieces.
- Top crackers with meat, plantains and salsa.

Combine 2-1/2 Tbsp. finely chopped seeded tomatoes, 1 Tbsp. chopped white onions, 1-1/2 tsp. chopped jalapeño peppers, 1 tsp. fresh lime juice and a dash of salt.
