Spicy Stacked Cuban Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients

  • 24 dill pickle chips
  • 2 oz. brick cream cheese, softened
  • 1 Tbsp. chili sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 6 Swiss cheese slices
  • 48 RITZ Crackers
  • 8 slices deli-style Black Forest ham (4 oz.), each slice cut in thirds

Instructions

  • Heat  grill to medium heat.
  • Drain  pickles on paper towels. Meanwhile, mix cream cheese, chili sauce and red pepper until blended.
  • Cut  each cheese slice into 8 pieces. Top each of 24 crackers with 1 cheese piece, 1/2 tsp. cream cheese mixture, 1 folded ham piece and 1 pickle; cover with second cheese piece and cracker to make sandwich.
  • Wrap  6 sandwiches in heavy-duty foil. Repeat with remaining sandwiches to make 4 packets.
  • Grill  8 min., turning after each minute.

Recipe Tips

SubstitutePrepare using sliced deli-style smoked turkey breast.

Use Your OvenHeat oven to 350°F. Assemble and wrap cracker sandwiches in foil as directed; place in single layer on baking sheet. Bake 6 min.

Make AheadThe foil packets can be assembled up to 2 hrs. ahead of time. Refrigerate until ready to grill. Place in cooler for transporting to your tailgating party or other destination.
