Seven-Point Spread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) brick cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeño peppers for nachos, drained, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  •  RITZ Crackers

Instructions

  • Spread  cream cheese onto bottom of 1-qt. microwaveable bowl.
  • Top  with layers of peppers, chicken and shredded cheese.
  • Microwave  on HIGH 2 to 3 min. or until shredded cheese is melted.
  • Top  with sour cream, salsa and onions.
  • Serve  with crackers.

Recipe Tips

SubstituteSubstitute 1/4 cup chopped black olives for the sliced green onions.

Variation Prepare recipe as directed, using Neufchatel cheese, shredded reduced-fat Mexican cheese blend and reduced-fat sour cream.

Variation Microwave the spread in a microwaveable 9-inch pie plate instead of the bowl.
