RITZ Butterfly Toppers Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 cracker-sized sliced sharp cheddar cheese
  • 12 RITZ Crackers
  • 2 small plum tomatoes, each cut into 6 slices
  • 12 thin green pepper strips (1-1/2 inches long)

Instructions

  • Cut  cheese slices into 12 rounds using 1-1/2-inch cookie cutter, then cut each cheese round in half. Reserve scraps for snacking or another use.
  • Top  each cracker with 1 tomato slice, 2 cheese pieces and 1 pepper strip to resemble a butterfly as shown in photo.

Recipe Tips

SubstituteSubstitute 4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese with Jalapeño Peppers, cut into 12 thin slices, for the cheddar cheese.
