
Red Velvet Cookie Balls
Like mini bites of Red Velvet Cake, these rich and delicious treats are made from cream cheese and crushed OREO Cookies and dipped in melted chocolate.

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) brick cream cheese, softened
- 36 OREO Cookies, finely crushed
- ½ tsp. red food coloring
- 4 pkg. (4 oz. each) semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
- 2 Tbsp. red sprinkles
Preparation
- Mix cream cheese, cookie crumbs and food coloring until blended.
- Shape into 48 (1-inch) balls. Freeze 10 min.
- Dip cookie balls into melted chocolate; place on wax paper-covered baking sheet. Top with sprinkles.
- Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Keep refrigerated.

Crushing OREO Cookies is a cinch with a rolling pin and a resealable plastic bag. - How to Easily Dip the Cookie Balls
To easily coat cookie balls with the melted chocolate, add balls, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Use 2 forks to roll cookie balls in chocolate until evenly coated. Remove balls with forks, letting excess chocolate drip back into bowl. Place cookie balls on prepared baking sheet; let stand until firm.
