
NILLA Strawberry "Shortcake" with "Gingerbread" Cream

Ingredients
- 1 tub (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1½ tsp. cinnamon
- ¾ tsp. ground ginger
- ¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1½ cups sliced strawberries
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 36 NILLA Wafers, divided
- 6 strawberries, halved
Preparation
- Combine whipped topping and spices. Toss sliced strawberries with sugar.
- Chop 24 wafers coarsely. Layer half EACH of the chopped wafers, sliced strawberries and whipped topping mixture in 12 (3-oz.) shot glasses. Repeat layers.
- Garnish with remaining wafers and halved strawberries just before serving.

Substitute small juice glasses or parfait cups for the shot glasses. - Special Extra
Melt 1/4 oz. white baking chocolate as directed on package. Finely crush 4 additional NILLA Wafers. Dip tops of empty shot glasses in melted chocolate, then into wafer crumbs before filling as directed. Or, dip chocolate-dipped shot glasses in 2 Tbsp. holiday sprinkles. - Special Extra
Melt 1 oz. white or semi-sweet baking chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over remaining wafers. Sprinkle with colored sugar or holiday sprinkles, if desired. Use to garnish desserts as directed.
