New York Chocolate Cheesecake

Melted chocolate in the batter and an OREO Cookie crust turn a classic New York cheesecake into the best dessert recipe for chocolate lovers.

  • 18 OREO Cookies, finely crushed
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 5 pkg. (8 oz. each) brick cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 pkg. (4 oz. each) semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted, slightly cooled
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine cookie crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Bake 10 min.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add melted chocolate and sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Pour over crust.
  • Bake 1 hour 5 min. to 1 hour 10 min. or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim of pan.
  • Refrigerate 4 hours.
