Five fabulous ingredients - cream cheese, Parmesan, pesto, roasted red peppers and mozzarella - add up to one terrific hot dip!

Layered Italian Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) brick cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup basil pesto
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, drained, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  •  WHEAT THINS Big Snacks

Instructions

  • Heat  oven to 350°F.
  • Mix  cream cheese and Parmesan cheese until blended; spread onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Top  with layers of all remaining ingredients except crackers.
  • Bake  15 min. or until heated through.
  • Serve  with WHEAT THINS.

Recipe Tips

Variation Prepare using Neufchatel cheese and shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese.

Special ExtraGarnish with sliced black olives and fresh basil leaves before serving.

Serving SuggestionServe with TRISCUIT Crackers instead of WHEAT THINS. Makes 16 servings, 2 Tbsp. dip and 6 crackers each.
