Layered CHIPS AHOY! Refrigerator Cake Recipe


  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pkg. (4-serving size) chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1-1/2 cups thawed frozen whipped topping
  • 30 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies


  • Pour  milk into medium bowl. Add pudding mix and cinnamon. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping.
  • Spread  about 2 tsp. pudding mixture onto each cookie. Begin stacking cookies together, standing on edge on serving platter to make a log. Frost with remaining pudding mixture.
  • Refrigerate  overnight. Cut diagonally to serve.

Special ExtraAdd a chocolate garnish by using a knife to shave chocolate curls from a square of chocolate onto cake.

VariationsPrepare as directed, using one of the following flavor options: NILLA REFRIGERATOR CAKE: Use butterscotch instant pudding mix and 60 NILLA Wafers (makes 2 logs), substitute vanilla for the cinnamon; CHOCOLATE REFRIGERATOR CAKE: Use vanilla instant pudding mix and FAMOUS Chocolate Wafers, substitute 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder for the cinnamon; GINGER SNAP REFRIGERATOR CAKE: Use lemon instant pudding mix and 30 NABISCO Ginger Snaps, substitute 1/4 tsp. ground ginger for the cinnamon.
