Ice cream cones add the crowning touch to scoops of ice cream which the kids have decorated with candies and other fun ingredients to resemble silly clown faces.

Ice Cream Clowns Recipe


  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream
  • 8 COMET Sugar Cones
  • 24 OREO Cookies (about 1/2 of 20-oz. pkg.)
  •  decorations, such as ring-shaped chewy fruit snacks, salted peanuts, decorating icing, marshmallows and assorted candies


  • Scoop  ice cream into eight balls, using medium ice cream scoop. Place on wax paper-covered baking sheet.
  • Top  each ice cream ball with sugar cone for the "clown's hat." Freeze 1 hour or until firm.
  • Arrange  3 cookies in circle on each of eight serving plates when ready to serve. Top each with ice cream scoop. Add decorations as desired to each ice cream scoop to resemble clown's face.
