Frozen Pudding Tortoni Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1-2/3 cups cold half-and-half
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
  • 4 OREO Cookies, chopped

Instructions

  • Beat  pudding mix, half-and-half and extract in large bowl with whisk 2 min. Gently stir in COOL WHIP.
  • Spoon  into 8 individual dessert dishes or paper-lined medium muffin cups. Sprinkle with chopped cookies.
  • Freeze  3 hours or until firm. Freeze leftovers.

SubstitutePrepare as directed, using vanilla fat-free sugar-free instant pudding mix, COOL WHIP FREE Whipped Topping and Reduced Fat OREO Cookies.

Variation Prepare as directed, substituting 1/4 cup chopped, drained maraschino cherries and 2 Tbsp. toasted slivered almonds for the chopped OREO Cookies.

SubstitutePrepare as directed, using pistachio instant pudding mix and substituting 1/2 cup chopped NILLA Wafers for the chopped OREO Cookies.
