Creamy Crab and Red Pepper Spread

Sweet, tender lump crabmeat in a creamy spread with green onion and red pepper makes for an upscale crowd-pleaser. Bonus: This tasty appetizer can fit into a smart eating plan.

ServingsMakes 18 servings, 2 Tbsp. cheese spread and 5 crackers each.
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced, divided
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) reduced-fat cream cheese spread
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 can (6 oz.) lump crabmeat, drained, picked through
  • 1 small red pepper, finely chopped
  • ½ cup shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
  • RITZ Reduced Fat Crackers
  • Reserve 2 Tbsp. onions for later use. Mix remaining onions with cream cheese spread and mustard in medium bowl until blended.
  • Add all remaining ingredients except reserved onions and crackers; mix well.
  • Refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Top with reserved onions.
  • Serve with crackers.
