Chocolate-Dipped Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (4 oz.) semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 18 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut

Instructions

  • Microwave  chocolate as directed on package.
  • Dip  half of each cookie into chocolate, then roll in nuts or coconut. Place on wax paper-covered tray.
  • Let  stand at least 1 hour or until chocolate is firm.

Recipe Tips

Variation - Chocolate-Dipped Frozen BananasOmit cookies. Melt chocolate as directed. Cut each of 4 bananas crosswise into 4 pieces. Insert wooden pop stick into each banana piece. Dip in chocolate, then roll in nuts or coconut as directed. Place on wax paper-covered tray and freeze until bananas are frozen. Store in freezer until ready to serve. Makes 16 servings, 1 banana chunk each.
