CHIPS AHOY! Cinnamon Brownies

  • 1 pkg. (18 to 20 oz.) brownie mix(13x9-inch pan size)
  • 1½ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 17 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies, divided
  • Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Spray with cooking spray.
  • Prepare brownie batter as directed on package. Stir in cinnamon.
  • Pour half the batter into prepared pan. Top with 12 cookies, arranged in even layer over batter. Cover with remaining batter; spread to evenly cover cookies.
  • Chop remaining cookies; sprinkle over top layer of batter.
  • Bake 20 to 23 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not overbake.) Cool completely.
  • Use foil handles to remove brownie from pan before cutting to serve.

  • Spice it Up
    Stir 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne) into brownie batter along with the cinnamon.
