Caramel Apple-Cheese Spread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 cup EACH chopped Gala and Granny Smith apples
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) Neufchatel cheese, softened
  •  RITZ Crackers

Instructions

  • Melt  butter in medium skillet on medium heat. Add apples, stir until evenly coated. Cover; cook 5 min. Stir in sugar and cinnamon; cook, uncovered, 1 to 2 min. or until sugar is melted and apples are evenly coated with sugar syrup, stirring frequently.
  • Place  Neufchatel cheese on serving plate; top with apple mixture.
  • Serve  with crackers.

Recipe Tips

Make AheadApples can be cooked ahead of time. Cool, then refrigerate up to 24 hours. Microwave on HIGH 1 min or until heated through before spooning over Neufchatel cheese and serving as directed.
