Birthday Quake Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
  • 3 Tbsp. multi-colored sprinkles, divided
  • 10 Birthday Cake OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, quartered
  • 10 Golden Birthday Cake OREO Sandwich Cookies, quartered

Instructions

  • Prepare  cake batter and bake as directed on package for 2 (9-inch) round layers. Cool cakes in pans 10 min.; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.
  • Mix  3/4 cup whipped topping and 1 Tbsp. sprinkles.
  • Stack  cake layers on plate, filling with whipped topping mixture. Frost top and side of cake with remaining whipped topping. Press remaining sprinkles into side of cake. Top with cookie pieces.
