Snappy Sausage and Cheddar Melts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. brick cream cheese, softened
  • 1 lb. spicy hot pork sausage, cooked, crumbled
  • 2 Tbsp. red pepper jelly
  • 1 pkg. (9-1/2 oz.) TRISCUIT Deli-Style Rye Crackers
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat  broiler. Mix cream cheese, sausage and jelly until well blended.
  • Spoon  1-1/2 tsp. of the cream cheese mixture onto each cracker; place on ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  • Broil,  6 inches from heat, 2 to 3 minutes or until cheddar cheese is melted.

SubstitutePrepare as directed, using mild pork sausage.
