Cookie-Wiches Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups COOL WHIP Whipped Topping (Do not thaw.)
  • 12 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies or CHIPS AHOY! Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • 1/4 cup colored sprinkles

Instructions

  • Place  1 small scoop (about 2 Tbsp.) frozen COOL WHIP on 1 cookie; cover with second cookie to form sandwich. Roll edge in sprinkles. Place in shallow pan.
  • Repeat  with remaining ingredients to make a total of 6 sandwiches.
  • Freeze  1 hour. Wrap individually. Store in freezer up to 2 weeks.

Recipe Tips

Chocolate-Dipped Cookie-WichesPrepare as directed, except do not coat edges in sprinkles. Freeze as directed. Dip each sandwich halfway into melted semi-sweet chocolate. Place in waxed paper-lined tray; freeze until firm. Wrap individually and freeze until ready to serve.

SubstituteSubstitute finely chopped peanuts for the sprinkles.

Variation Prepare as directed, substituting 48 NILLA Wafers for 12 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies and using about 1 Tbsp. COOL WHIP to make each sandwich. Makes 6 servings, 4 sandwiches each.
