Chocolate-Covered Peanut Butter Bars Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1-1/4 cups creamy peanut butter, divided
  • 6 HONEY MAID Honey Grahams, finely crushed (about 1 cup)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar, divided
  • 1 pkg.  (8 oz.) brick cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cups COOL WHIP Whipped Topping (Do not thaw.)
  • 1 pkg. (4 oz.) semi-sweet baking chocolate

Instructions

  • Beat  butter and 3/4 cup peanut butter in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add graham crumbs; mix well. Gradually beat in 2 cups sugar; press onto bottom of 9-inch square pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Beat  cream cheese, remaining peanut butter and remaining sugar with mixer until well blended. Spread over crust.
  • Microwave  whipped topping and chocolate in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 to 2 min. or until whipped topping is melted, stirring after 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 2 hours.
