Birthday Cookie Balls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pkg. (15.5 oz.) Golden Birthday Cake OREO Sandwich Cookies, finely crushed
  • 1-1/4 cups multi-colored nonpareils, divided
  • 3 pkg. (4 oz. each) white baking chocolate, melted

Instructions

  • Mix  cream cheese and cookie crumbs until blended. Stir in 2 Tbsp. nonpareils.
  • Shape  into 40 (1-inch) balls. Freeze 10 min. Dip balls in melted chocolate; roll in remaining nonpareils to evenly coat. Place in single layer on waxed paper-covered rimmed baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate  1 hour or until firm.

How to Easily Dip BallsTo easily coat the balls with the melted chocolate, add the balls, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Use 2 forks to roll balls in chocolate until evenly coated. Remove balls with forks, letting excess chocolate drip back into bowl. Place balls on prepared baking sheet; let stand until chocolate coating is firm.
